Joshua Wharton

Our newest addition to the team is our shop helper and apprentice, Joshua Wharton. Josh grew up in Crescenta Valley, graduating from Crescenta Valley High School and attending the PCC Automotive Technology Program, where he graduated in 2023. He likes to travel, especially by taking road trips in his car. He is learning to read and speak Japanese in his free time, and recently took a trip with his family to visit Japan.

Growing up, Josh’s father owned a few interesting cars, and this sparked his interest. He bought his first performance vehicle, a 2006 Audi S4, and he realized he wanted to be able to work on it himself. Thus began his interest in going into the Automotive Technology Program at Pasadena Community College and learning to become a technician. He graduated from the program and went to work for an independent shop in Van Nuys. After meeting a mentor and improving his skills there, he came to Bimmer PhD to continue to hone his skills on German vehicles.

Josh is a quiet, helpful, always learning technician. He is learning and growing at Bimmer PhD, and he loves the camaraderie and helpful atmosphere that he has found here. Josh is an asset to our team, and we are excited to help him to grow into an amazing BMW technician.
