Power Steering Service

Over time, the chemical properties of power steering fluid break down, especially under the heat and pressure of normal use. This degradation leads to contamination, reducing the fluid’s ability to properly lubricate and protect the hydraulic system. Contaminated fluid accelerates wear on seals, the power steering pump, and the steering gear, increasing the risk of premature component failure.

During our BG service, we replace all the power steering fluid and install a new filter to keep the system clean and operating smoothly. Regular maintenance extends the life of your steering components and helps you avoid costly repairs.

Note: Some newer BMW models are equipped with Electric Power Steering (EPS), which does not require hydraulic fluid service.
