Our apprentice technician, James Imperio, is currently a Pasadena City College student and is going to be graduating soon with an Associates Degree in Automotive Technology. He has taken many BMW technical courses and is also currently working on completing his ASE certificates.
James initially went to school to work in the pharmaceutical industry, however, he found that he struggled to sit for long periods of time and had a hard time focusing in a classroom setting. He liked to take things apart and see how they worked, so he decided to take the introductory automotive class that they offered at PCC as an elective. He found that when he learned with hands on experience, he enjoyed and excelled at it. This is when he made the choice to make this his profession.
Watching his dad from a young age work on their vehicles and James assisting him is how he acquired his passion for cars. He built his first pro race RC car with the help of his father when he was only in 2nd grade. He enjoys working on his 2007 BMW 335i, which he loves to drive and modify. He also enjoys fishing, camping, and gaming.
James is a bright new technician that has much to offer and we are proud to have him on our team. His dedication to anything he puts his mind to is admirable & we look forward to his accomplishments in the future.
